These days we suffer from Global warming.
In the far future, we will suffer from Global cooling when the solar energy absorption technology gets developed. Even the buildings might be constructed of solar panels instead of with steel rods, bricks and cement. The automobiles will not be releasing the hot exhaust smoke because they will be solar powered too. The roads also might be constructed of solar panels. So the heat of the Sun will be absorbed in each and every construction of humans.
At that time, the air conditioners may not be cooling the air - instead they might be "heating up" the air.
